Cnith's Thoughts — Fairlife? You failed me!

I just read a horrible article in regards to Fairlife! the milk I loved. https://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-biz-fairlife-mccloskeys-fraud-lawsuit-20190612-story.html

I have recommended this milk even! But no more. I mean, I know the meat and dairy industry suck. The farm industry sucks. All the food related industries, suck! But come on….there’s suck, and ULTRA suck.

I should have known better. The prices were “too cheap” to be as good as it claims. Caring for cows is expensive. But I fell for it anyway, thinking wow, a company that cares and is affordable. I should have known it was they care alright, but for their pockets. And to find out it was a vet who started this company? Insult to injury and salt to a salty wound. Ouch!

I don’t even care they’re bought or owned or whatever by Coca Cola. It’s more how the industry sucks and I AM weaning myself off the stuff but I’ll make better efforts now. This insanity has to stop and I need to find me a field and house to have my own cows and chickens and everything else I like eating. At least then I’ll know how they were treated!
